"Nigdy w życiu"

Firstly, I would like to say that I have read many books in my life, but I don’t like it.

I read books, cartoons and other publications, just to make progress in my Polish (vocabulary, grammar etc.).

The most interesting book, I have read recently, is the romantic comedy “Nigdy w życiu” written by a contemporary Polish writer, Anna Grochola.

Judyta, the main character of this book, lives in Warsaw and works as a journalist. She takes care of her 16-year-old daughter (Tosia). Judyta is in her middle-thirties, her husband has left her. In spite of it she's not depressed and decides to make some changes in her life. She leaves the capital of Poland and settles in a village.

She builds a modest house there and begins a new life with her daughter, Tosia. She faces new challenges and starts to look for the man of her life. I think the most interesting situation of this book is when Judyta arranges a focal point and meets Adam, who works for a women's magazine. She falls in love, and her feeling is reciprocated. Tosia acceps her mother's new partner. Everything is going to the happy end. A few months later Judyta finds out that Adam is faithless to her. They split up. Judyta swears that she never falls in love again...

I love that book, because of many funny, exciting situations. I recommend “Nigdy w życiu” to all women, but men would enjoy this romantic comedy too. The best way to check it is to read it!
